The Good Old Fashion Remedy Still Works

LastingSuccessThe good old fashion remedy still works and that’s what Darren Hardy share in is book The Compound Effect. Do you want success? You may have to go to bed late and get up early, but over a period of time you’ll produce greater results. What’s happening today is that we are living in a time when instant gratification is the desired more than anything, wanting things immediately even without putting in the effort for what they want to enjoy. This type of habit gives the manipulators the upper hand because they now recognize that the habit of our society is in a mindset of instant results. Therefore, the manipulators act on it. They call this generation the microwave generation, but even the generation before this generation is also caught up in the instant result wave. They seem to forget the good old fashion remedy that always works. People cry, “It takes too long,” and as a result they not only lose money but also the motivation that it takes to get it done. With real and lasting success we have to be willing to pay our dues. Pay your dues for the lasting success that you want to enjoy in life. For lasting success to happen we have to be willing to do the work, and as Thomas A. Edison said, The reason a lot of people do not recognize opportunity is because it usually goes around wearing overalls looking like hard work.” Don’t shy away from the work that it will take to give you the lasting success you want to enjoy. Darren Hardy points out in his book The Compound Effect that, “The path to success is through a continuum of mundane, unsexy, unexciting, and sometimes difficult daily disciplines compounded over time.” For lasting success you cannot escape hard work, so be prepared to pay your dues.
