Question 10: How Do You Get Back Up And Take Life On?

Question 10. How do you get back up and take life on?

You can get back on your feet as there are a lot of individuals who have fallen before. I read somewhere that, what defines us is how well we rise after we fall. Life is the best gift we get, but with life comes obstacles and challenges. You know the old proverb that states, fall seven times, stand eight? I hope today you find the strength to stand one more time.

In order to get back up and take life on you must start with the basics and that is to believe in yourself and better yet, know who you are and whose you are. You are a child of God and there is no need to play small.

You must know within yourself that you have something of value to offer.

You have to change your perception on life. The perception that causes you to feel defeated has to be changed.

You have to step forward with faith.

You have to know what you want and where you want to go.

You have to have a positive mental attitude, as things don’t always go as planned.

Finally, you have to develop good habits that will foster productivity.

  1. Like most people, Richard, I’ve been knocked off the proverbial horse several times over the years and getting back in the saddle never felt better.

Life is chock full of positives and negatives, ups and downs, disappointment and triumph. Every aspect of our lives hinges on how we perceive life, ourselves and those we come into contact with any given day. Some would knock us down while others lift us higher and higher (I feel another song coming on!).

Our resilience will carry us through life with determination and empowerment. Sometimes we just need to hear it from one as inspired as yourself Richard…and then the rest is up to ourselves. Such a weight, such a gift!
