How Do You Take Advantage Of Your Day?

Advantage

You don’t have to wait for a perfect day to take advantage, by taking advantage of the day you make it perfect.

I don’t get 10 out of 10 everyday, some days I have fallen below average. However, I still do my very best to take advantage of each day. Believe me you can too. To take advantage of your day you cannot complain and as Maya Angelo said, “What you’re supposed to do when you don’t like a thing is change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it. Don’t complain.”

I don’t know about you, but I have no time to complain. In fact, complaining is a waste of time and energy. Let’s take advantage of each day even when we don’t score “A’s”.

No matter how much I was able to get done yesterday, with today comes a clean slate and the ability to take action starts all over again. I must make the best of today despite the amount of work that I was able to complete yesterday.

You can take advantage of your day because:

  • You can act on something that you are passionate about each day.
  • You can decide the night before what you are going to focus on the following day.
  • You can visualize achieving the goal you have set for yourself daily.
  • You can aim to do at least one act of kindness daily.
  • You can note your new ideas in your journal/notepad so you don’t forget them.
  • You can take your talent to the market place.
  • You can affirm your commitment to be the person you came to the planet to be.
  • You can greet each day with a grateful heart.
  • You can enjoy your day. It’s a choice, so you can choose to.

Hope you take advantage of each day you are blessed to see!

  1. Thanks for the reblog. I appreciate it.

  2. One of the key benefits I find in taking the utmost advantage of each day that I possibly can is that I gain valuable momentum and with that momentum comes positive results. It is that kind of positive results and momentum that motivates me to do the same again with all tomorrows and those positive gains manifest themselves in so many great ways.

People gravitate towards the positive much more readily than the negative and are inspired to do likewise. We all instinctively want to feel accomplished by day’s end.
