  1. Our journey in life happens one step at a time, however large or small. What we do with those steps is critical to reaching our desired destination in life. I spent many years of my life not focusing on the importance of steps in the process, often having only far-sighted focus on reaching the finish line without effectively navigating hurdles along the way.

Achieving daily objectives and self-reward go a long way to striking a positive balance in our efforts…and thank you so much for reminding me of that Richard! I am getting better at that…greater focus on quality time for myself and my loved ones as an important focus along the way!

  2. Don, we can only make one step at a time. Sometimes it is us who cause us to be overwhelmed where we want to take too many steps at once in order to get where we want to go. I once heard Brian Tracy said, “two steps forward and one back” He called it course correction. With that been said, we should focus on the progress we make and as you said, “no matter how small the steps are” it is still forward.

The best is yet to come!
