“Nothing is stronger than habit.” – Ovid. With that in mind, all habits takes time to form so don’t get discouraged if the one you want to form is taking sometime. Keep going and don’t quit. Check out my day 35 video on YouTube and I would love to hear from you.
I hope your focus is not on the habit you want to break. The first time I heard to stop putting my focus on the habit or habits that I want to break I said to myself “What” but later to realize that it all make sense. You have heard energy flows where attention goes. However, when it comes down to the habits you want to break, it’s best to identify and name them. Then, place your attention/focus on the habits that you want to form. Remember, energy flows where attention goes.
Look at it like this, you have two pet animals at your home and you only feed one. It will not take too long for you to start seeing the difference. One will look healthy and the other will not and before you know it the one you don’t feed or give your attention, will later die. If you can stop focusing on the habit you want to break and focus your energy on the one you want to form, the one you want to form will eventually become a part of you after a while. Before you know it, not only you will see the difference but the people around you will also see the difference. Believe in yourself!
Go ahead think about some benefits that you’ll experience as a result of you forming new habits.
