For your dreams to become a reality it has to be more than, “it would be good if I achieve it.”
I have broken promises that I have made to myself before. I have quit what I have started before and I know you may have too.
Why we break these promises is because it is not a must that we get it done. If it is a must we’ll find the means necessary to get it done. We’ll make the extra calls. We’ll talk to more people. We’ll go the extra mile but what we will not do is find excuses.
Don’t stop because of doubters. Don’t stop because of the lack of support. If achieving your dream is a must, the distractions or obstructions will be of no match to you.
Those who have succeeded in life have also been met with challenges, sometimes even more than they could bear. But because their life depends on seeing their dream become a reality, they push on through. Therefore, the challenge was no match. If achieving your dream is a must, the challenge should not stop you.
Winners don’t find excuses. Winners have the attitude of no matter what. Winners go even if they have to go alone. Winners don’t give up on themselves. Therefore, breaking the promises they’ve made to themselves is not part of consciousness. Winners keep their promises. Winners are committed. Were they born that way? No. They chose to be that way.
This is important, it is easy to break the promises that we have made to ourselves if the thing we have decided to do is of no interest to us. I say that to say; don’t set yourself up to fail because each time you stop without finishing what you have started you are only reinforcing a bad habit. Remember, bad habits are hard to break.
When things become a must we find courage that we never once knew existed but because we have no other option than to make it happen.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO GO BEYOND LIMITATIONS. IT MAY NOT BE EASY, BUT IT IS POSSIBLE.
