90 Day Challenge: Day 43 – Don’t Wish For What Others Have Wish For Your Own

I wish the car that my neighbor has was mine. But, do you? There could be a better car for you. Who knows – wish for your own.

Be careful for what you wish for because you might get it. We know that our thoughts are powerful and we attract to us what we think about most.

The thing or things that you dwell on most you will be creating a desire for it, but is the desire that you are creating is it for the right or wrong reasons. Have you ever wished for something that you see someone else has and get it then don’t really want it?

You too have something great to give birth to!

If you can have anything in the world why wish for what the other person has? You too have the capability to create your own so; whatever you wish for should be something that you really desire to have because you want to have it not because someone else has it. Don’t let what others have stops you from having what is divinely yours. Wishing for what your neighbors, friends or associates have will only put a damper on what you are capable of creating for yourself. It’s time to wish for your own and you deserve to have a life that will make you satisfied and that’s why it’s imperative that whatever you are wishing for is something you really want. What will make you happy? What will make you get up every day and live?

You too are here to create so don’t let your creativity stay within. Be the best you, you can be.

I wish I have the life or lifestyle that that person has. But do you? Remember you are seeing the end result and not the process. On the other hand, when you wish for your own you are divinely putting to you what is divinely yours.

Make sure what you wish for is what you really want!

  1. Yes indeed Richard. My wife and I find happiness in what we acquire and when we do finally have what we have wished for because we have always endeavoured to make those things unique and highly relative between each other, their meaning is so much greater, more personal. We’ve all heard the popular saying about “keeping up with the Joneses”. Is that how we want to go through life? Is that fulfilling that we acquire what the next door neighbour has?? Absolutely not.

We need to decide what things to hold near and dear to our own heart…our relationships, our material belongings, our home, where we travel to etc. We are not clones nor is our ‘statement’ significant to ourselves when it is not truly ‘our own’.

We can and should define our own successes in the life the same way and in doing so those successes will be so much more fulfilling.

    • Well said Don. Appreciate you sharing and as shred here, “appreciate what you do have” which will allow us not to feel out of place just because you don’t have something someone else has.

      Have a blessed week.
