Are you ready to meet the right person? Have you been putting off taking action because you are waiting for the right person to show up? Stop!
I don’t remember which book I have read this phrase, “We don’t attract what we want but who we are” and although it didn’t take root the first time I heard it, the saying had a lasting impression on me. Waiting to meet the right person was me some time ago and I use to put off taking action because I was waiting for the right person to come along.
I delayed my progress.
You have a better chance of meeting the right person when you work on you first.
That’s something I didn’t realize at first.
One of the reasons why we wait is because we don’t wait to fail. We believe having the right person will help us not to fail, but we can still fail even with the right person. Nevertheless, we don’t attract what we want but we are. So, our best bet is to start working on ourselves.
We all want to meet the right person. To make the process of meeting the right person easier it’s best to develop in us the qualities first and once we become that person we’ll start to attract to us more of the same. It is not to say they weren’t there all along but because we weren’t the right person. The whole concept of meeting the right person is to working on ourselves, to developing in us the discipline not by magic but because of who we are or become.
You may have to go to seminars that focus on what you are passionate about or take part in activities with like-minded people or just share your passion with the world but whatever you do it should help you to become more of the person you want to meet. It begins with you first. Become the person you want to meet and stop waiting to meet the right person.
“When we are ready to make positive changes in our lives we, we attract what we need to help us.” -Louis Haye
