What are you allowing to drain your energy?

“Don’t Take Anything Personally. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.”Don Miguel Ruiz

On this journey, not everyone is going to see what you see or believe what you believe and some will hate you. However, you must know that your haters don’t really hate YOU; they hate themselves because you’re a reflection of what they wish to be.

Well, those who you feel are not haters are not haters in all cases. Some people just don’t know how to be supportive. So don’t take it personally when the people around you or even the people outside your environments don’t respond the way you want them to. In fact, some people who don’t say anything to you are admiring you and they too may not know how to be supportive.  Don’t take their action or lack of action personally.

I don’t allow your attitude towards me to dictate how I think about myself. My attitude towards me is centered on what I think about myself.

When you take things personally it’s a waste of mental and emotional energy. There is no need to drag yourself down with what others are thinking or saying about you especially if it is not positive. Why waste your precious time on things that are not going to serve you? Remember, it’s not because they hate (or dislike) you and sometimes they just don’t know how to be supportive.

On that note: If you believe in what you are doing don’t allow what is on the outside of you to hinder your progress in life.

Let the haters hate.

What keeps you going?

IT IS POSSIBLE TO GO BEYOND LIMITATIONS. IT MAY NOT BE EASY, BUT IT IS POSSIBLE.
