OUR MIND IS OUR MOST PRECIOUS ASSET

I think I can!

It’s possible that you can make a difference and therefore if you have already decided not to live your life on the basis of trial and error, but on purpose you’ll have to protect your most precious asset and use it wisely.

Then again, to protecting your mind is not to have a closed mind. Having a closed mind will only the limit the possibility of what is possible for you. Why? You won’t be open to new ideas and if you are a possibility thinker and although you are protecting your mind from anything that’s negative you still want to be open to ideas that can enhance your personal growth. In fact, learning is a continuous thing and by you being serious one should continue to learn.

“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”Aristotle

We may not be able to protect our minds from all what others have to say, but we can at least make the decision on what thought we’ll entertain. Why is that important? What we entertain will eventually become a part of our consciousness, that is, it leaves the conscious mind to the subconscious where we start to carry out what we have allowed to become a part of us unconsciously.

The thought you entertain should empower, encourage and motivate you. Don’t allow negativity to interfere with what is possible for you and God make all things possible.

On another note, sometimes the thoughts that we need to protect ourselves from is our own. Therefore, if you find that the thoughts that occupy your mind are negative, you may want to immerse yourself in an environment that will help you to develop a more positive mindset. Remember, your mind is the most precious asset, and you have to protect it and use it wisely.

We can think on the things that disempower us, or we can think on the things that empower us.  Let’s use our mind wisely!

IT IS POSSIBLE TO GO BEYOND LIMITATIONS. IT MAY NOT BE EASY, BUT IT IS POSSIBLE.

Powerful write up. Your teaching is really helping me to develop my life.
Thank you again for this information.

  2. Richard, I always look forward to engaging in your thoughts. Your messages oftentimes trigger a deeply ingrained message instilled in the near or distant past whether your own or that of another who have met with success.

Our mind truly is our most powerful asset. As you have expressed so often, allowing negative thoughts to occupy our minds is terribly distracting and your topic today puts me immediately in mind of perhaps The single most powerfully viral product marketing icon of all time – Nike’s ‘Just Do It’!

I believe more and more each and every day that the most powerful message that we, in the entrepreneurial spirit, we that want to be a part of something bigger, MUST embrace ‘Just Do It’ with every fiber in our being from DAY 1 as we venture into something new and exciting. The moment we allow those negative, self-sabotaging thoughts enter our minds is the moment we begin to lose our desire to achieve, our belief in ourselves.

That being said, we can overcome negative thoughts and perspective – it takes perseverance and an unwavering belief in ourselves. Our mind is indeed our greatest asset but me must remember that we have the means to control much of our thought processes that will help us achieve.

Thank you for your unwavering support and inspiration Richard. Your insights really do help me maintain focus, even in the most challenging times.
