Bring Out The Best In Others

Life involves dealing and working with others. It is good to show the world our greatness and our unique abilities. However, in practicing the habit of bringing out the best in others we can change the world in a positive way.

It was Goethe who said, ” Look at a man the way that he is, he only becomes worse. But look at him as if he were what he could be, then he becomes what he should be.” The question to you is, what are you thinking or saying about others, but more so, those closest to you?

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist for you to know that you have the power within to make a difference in someone’s life. You can help them to develop the confidence within themselves by letting them know that you believe in them despite their failures. We all fail at something, but I would suggest that you don’t use someone’s failure to judge what’s possible.

I was at a program when one of the members shared a profound statement of which ties directly to this topic. He said, “We all walked a different path, we all had different experiences, different upbringing, but we are all here to empower our youth.” I say that to say, some people are going to be different, they’ll think different, but that doesn’t mean what they have to offer cannot serve the greater good. In life we sometimes we make our judgments base on our deep-seated beliefs and overlooked the hidden ability in others.

Before you make the judgement or come to a conclusion of what the person you are dealing with is capable of doing. Think.

You have the power to uplift, encourage and empower others. You can help someone to find in them what they have been overlooking. Make the pledge to bring out the best in others. Remember, you are doing the same for you in the process.

It is evident that some of the greatest minds have failed but was still able to have a meaningful impact on the lives of many.

Someone in your midst with greatness within them but haven’t yet recognized. It would be nice to point it out.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO GO BEYOND LIMITATIONS. IT MAY NOT BE EASY, BUT IT IS POSSIBLE.
