Could This Be Your Missing Link?

You already know that you were created to be great. You already know that you are powerful beyond measure. You already know that life is about choices. You already know that life is 10% of what happen to you and 90% of how you react to it. You already have talent and skills, but your life will go unfulfilled if you are missing this very important link.

Are you reliable? Are you accountable? How are you with goal-setting?

What are you thinking? Distractions are becoming more and more prevalent and not just to keep you entertained as you may have thought, but to keep you occupied. Remember, you are not just here to be kept occupied; you are actually here to create and evolved. However, I am in no way shape or form here to tell you not to take breaks. Actually you need breaks, but whenever you are in alignment with your passion, the line between work and play gets very thin to where it all seems to be that ever flowing of life.

What is your attitude, feelings and belief about work?

Could this missing link be your work ethic? Work ethic! Work ethic! I had come to the realization that to make things happen was not what I first concluded in my mind about law of attraction. I realized that it was not, “I want this and in it then falls out of the sky”. That was just wishful thing. It will take a persistent effort and as most of my friends would say, getting on the grind. Getting on the grind is making it happen. There are actually short cuts to where you what to go. However, as a child I was told that short cut draw blood. My definition of the phrase is that you will be giving up something that is vital to your well-being. That is to say, our work ethic is vitally important, because even though we were told to ask and it will be given. It was also stated that faith without work is death. Lack of work ethic diminishes your power. By all means, find your passion and get busy. Then you won’t even be working, because you are doing something you love. Time as you call it will eventually past and you don’t even know it.

If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. Bruce Lee

Are you willing to work hard for something that you believe in?

Be Empowered Today

ImageThe easiest way to feel EMPOWERED is to be EMPOWERING yourself. You can empower the next person you come in contact with and that is not only the person you see in the physical, but that family, friend or co-worker you may be talking with on the internet. It is good to remind them, whoever they are, of their strengths and good qualities, and being sincere with your gesture is what really matters. Empowering others empowers you in return. How do we empower ourselves?

I have been told that I have been a great influence to other people and that is good. However, being an influence only shows what I can do. As of today I want you to know what you can do and feel empowered doing it. I want you to recognize your strengths and feel comfortable sharing them with others. If you empower someone today you will in turn empower yourself, but that is only one of the ways to be empowered.

“You have the freedom to be yourself, your true self, here and now, and nothing can stand in your way.”
Richard Bach

“Everything you are against weakens you. Everything you are for empowers you.”
Wayne Dyer

Let’s look at some other ways that you can empower yourself:

Embrace. To be empowered you have to be mindful of the things that you embrace in your daily life.  It is what you do on a consistent basis that will either empower you or cause you to feel dis-empowered. Be empowered by paying attention to the good things that are going on in your life.

Magnify. You already know some of the things that you are good at. So, to be more empowered you want to magnify your strengths and abilities to your benefit.

Participate. To be empowered you want to participate in meaningful activities that will lift your spirit and provide you the ability to grow.

Open-minded. To be empowered you want to have an open mind. When you are open-minded you are able to receive more without making judgment before knowing what opportunities are available. You will also be stretched beyond your normal way of thinking.

Willing. To be empowered you have to be willing to put forth the effort that will enhance your capabilities. You have to be cognizant of the fact that all accomplishments start with your decision to take action one step at a time!

Engaged. To be empowered you want to be fully engaged in whatever you are doing. You may make mistakes or do the wrong thing, but the best thing about that is that you will not only learn from the process but you will be further ahead of those who do nothing.

Risks. To be empowered will involve taking risks. Although, you may make mistakes when taking risks you will also learn very important lessons that will empower your life and put you closer to your goal. The only risk you should avoid is the risk of doing nothing.

Enthusiasm. Enthusiasm comes with feeling empowered. It’s also contagious and people will be attracted to you and whatever you feel empowered to do.

Devoted. Being empowered requires you to be devoted. Being devoted means that you are committed and loyal to that which empowers you to be your better self.

“I think education is power. I think that being able to communicate with people is power. One of my main goals on the planet is to encourage people to empower themselves.” Oprah Winfrey
